About Us

The end-results of your refurbishment projects rely on the right preparation. In our case that’s restoring metals back to original quality, so you can get the best results when painting or polishing. Kwik Strip has built a well-earned reputation for delivering excellent work for nearly two decades.

Experts in a range of different stripping and restoration techniques, the knowledgeable team at Kwik Strip bring a meticulous and well-planned approach to every project and item regardless of size or complexity.

Operating out of its Te Atatu site, Kwik Strip has completed hundreds individual jobs, so you know that your projects and products are in the best hands whether its car bodies and parts including mag wheels, copper or brass trophies, steel piping, aluminium extrusions, iron fencing and everything in between.

In 2017 Mark Sargent purchased Kwik Strip and immediately secured the existing team who collectively have over 35 years of metal restoration expertise and are well known for delivering excellent quality work with the quickest turn-around time in the country.

With a career spent in management roles for companies like Amcor, Visy, Portola and consulting to Fonterra and Charlies, Mark quickly realised the unique capabilities of Kwik Strip and moved to increase value for customers by acquiring the Penrose based Atomic Stripping.

Now with even more capacity and close engagement with sister organisation Total Coats powder coaters, based up the road in Avondale, our customers enjoy seamless end-to-end services and cost-effective efficiencies.

Kwik Strip is the company you come to when jobs are too large or intricate for anyone else to take on and our long-term customers show that they agree because they don’t need to look anywhere else.

Our specialists look forward to discussing your projects and job and will design the perfect solution to get your restorations on the go fast and with brilliant results.
