Restoring a 1974 Mini
Bruce McRae began his ’74 Mini restoration by contacting Kwik Strip. The team quickly removed the tired looking pink paint job so Bruce could get cracking on the full restoration. Firstly the chassis was fully submerged in the acid stripping bath for 48 hours. The team then performed a detailed manual strip of any remaining paint from hard to reach places. Another two-day dip in the bath followed before the chassis being sprayed with a high quality sealer to prevent rust and corrosion.
It was recommended I use the Company Kwik Strip to remove all the paint. When I got my car back it was bare, no paint whatsoever and at a price I considered reasonable.
Great Job guys, you get a 5 out of 5 from me and I would not hesitate in recommending you and your company.
Kwik Strip looks forward to seeing photos of the finished article – Cheers Bruce!
